Beginnings

One of my favorite feelings in the world occurs immediately after putting a quarter in an arcade machine.

In that moment, there's excitement and anticipation for what lies on just the next screen. Sometimes it presents itself as the "jitters," but other times you lick your lips, crack you knuckles, and get ready to work. The suspense as the screen lights up and instructs you to select your avatar is something that few other things can promise. Challenges and fun await you as your eyes glance over the words "Press Start."

I've got that feeling right now as I write this.

It's been on my mind for a while, but I've decided to create this site to fulfill a few different purposes:

Serve as a place to aggregate my thoughts/ideas.
Force myself to create content on a regular basis.
Work as a pseudo-portfolio and living writing sample.
Provide updates to any projects I'm working on.

Most of the content will involve a few different choice subjects. As time goes on, this may expand but, for now, I'd venture to say the focus will be on the following (in no particular order):

Basketball
Video Games
App Ideas
Advertising
Media (Films/TV/etc.)
Mashups of any or all of the above
